Woven from Leftovers, Made to Last
Every handmade object carries a story. Sometimes, that story begins with what is left behind.
This ceramic pendant brings together two crafts—handmade stoneware ceramics from our studio and handwoven macramé created using leftover yarns. Rather than letting small lengths of colourful thread go to waste, they are thoughtfully woven into a tiny circular detail that sits alongside the ceramic pendant, giving each piece its own distinct character.
The ceramic pendant features a simple hand-carved grid pattern, inspired by woven textiles and the quiet beauty of everyday craftsmanship. Paired with an adjustable macramé cord, it is lightweight, comfortable, and designed to be worn every day.
The macramé elements are handcrafted in collaboration with indigenous artisan communities, where leftover yarns are transformed into intricate woven accents. Every combination of colours is unique, making no two pendants exactly alike.
At The Little Goldfish, we believe sustainability is often found in small, thoughtful choices—using what already exists, celebrating handmade processes, and creating objects that are meant to be cherished for years.
This pendant is more than an accessory; it is a meeting point of clay, fibre, and community. Small remnants. Patient hands. A story woven into every piece.
